FireConsole for Firebase

FireConsole for Firebase is an unofficial Android app for managing your Firebase and Google Cloud projects on the go. After signing in with your Google account, you can view and manage Cloud Firestore, Firebase Authentication users, Realtime Database, Cloud Storage, Remote Config, and Cloud Functions — all without opening a browser. FireConsole does not operate backend servers and never stores your project data; every action happens directly between your device and Google's own APIs, using your own Google account.

FireConsole is an unofficial third-party mobile application. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC, Firebase, or Alphabet Inc.

AskItLoud (“we”, “us”, “our”) publishes FireConsole for Firebase (the “App”). This Privacy Policy describes what information is handled when you use the App and how it is protected.

1. Summary

We do not operate backend servers that store your Firebase or Google Cloud project data.
Data is accessed through your Google account and official Google APIs, at your direction.
We do not sell your personal information or show ads.
We use Firebase Crashlytics (Google) to collect crash and diagnostic data so we can fix bugs. We do not use advertising or behavioral analytics SDKs.

2. Information the App handles

2.1 Google account & authentication

When you sign in with Google, the App stores on your device:

Your Google account email address
OAuth access and refresh tokens (encrypted)
Selected Google Cloud / Firebase project ID

These are used only to authenticate API requests you initiate.

2.2 Project & service data

When you use the App, it may retrieve and display data from services you access, including:

Cloud Firestore collections and documents
Firebase Authentication user records
Firebase Realtime Database nodes
Cloud Storage buckets and object metadata
Firebase Remote Config templates and parameters
Cloud Functions metadata
Firebase App Check configuration

This data is shown in the App and sent to Google only when you perform actions (view, create, edit, delete, publish). We do not copy project data to our own servers.

2.3 Files you upload

If you upload a file to Cloud Storage through the App, the file is transmitted directly to Google Cloud Storage using your credentials. We do not store uploaded files on our servers.

2.4 App preferences & local cache

Stored locally on your device:

Selected project and UI preferences
Biometric lock enabled/disabled setting
Temporary cached API responses for offline display
Pending offline actions queue (if connectivity is unavailable)
Pro subscription access state (from Google Play)

2.5 Purchases

Pro subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. We receive purchase status (e.g. active subscription) to unlock features. We do not receive or store payment card numbers.

2.6 Biometric data

If you enable biometric lock, authentication is handled by your device's operating system (fingerprint or face unlock). Biometric data never leaves your device and is not collected by us.

2.7 Crash & diagnostic data

To improve stability, the App uses Firebase Crashlytics (a Google service). When the App crashes or encounters certain errors, Crashlytics may collect:

Crash stack traces and error messages
Device model, OS version, and app version
Basic diagnostic logs (breadcrumbs) related to the crash

This data does not include your Firebase project data, OAuth tokens, or Google account password. Crash collection is disabled in debug builds. Google's handling of this data is governed by Firebase's Privacy and Security documentation and Google's Privacy Policy.

3. How we use information

Sign you in and maintain your session with Google APIs
Display and modify your project resources when you request it
Verify Pro subscription status
Protect the App with optional biometric lock
Queue actions when offline and sync when connectivity returns
Diagnose and fix crashes via Firebase Crashlytics

4. Legal basis (where applicable)

We process information to provide the App you requested, to perform our contract with you (Terms of use / purchase), and based on your consent when you sign in and grant Google API access.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing.

Information is transmitted only to:

Google APIs — Firebase, Google Cloud, and Identity services, to perform actions you request
Google Play — to process and validate in-app purchases and subscriptions
Firebase Crashlytics (Google) — anonymous crash and diagnostic reports to improve app stability

Google's handling of data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and applicable Firebase/Google Cloud terms.

6. Data retention

OAuth tokens and local cache remain on your device until you sign out or uninstall the App.
We do not retain project data on servers operated by AskItLoud.
Purchase records are retained by Google Play according to Google's policies.

7. Security

OAuth tokens are stored using Android EncryptedSharedPreferences.
All API communication uses HTTPS (TLS).
Android cloud backup is disabled for the App.
Optional biometric lock adds device-level protection when reopening the App.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for securing your Google account and device.

8. Account & data deletion

FireConsole for Firebase (by AskItLoud) does not create separate AskItLoud accounts. You sign in with your existing Google account via OAuth. We do not store your Firebase project data or Google credentials on AskItLoud servers — only on your device until you sign out or remove the app.

To delete your app account connection and associated data on your device:

Open FireConsole → sign out (removes OAuth tokens from your device).
Revoke app access: visit Google Account permissions and remove FireConsole for Firebase.
Delete local app data: Android Settings → Apps → FireConsole for Firebase → Storage → Clear data, or uninstall the app.
Cancel Pro subscription (if any): Google Play → Payments & subscriptions.

What is deleted: OAuth tokens, selected project preferences, local cache, and offline queue stored on your device.

What we do not hold: AskItLoud does not operate servers that store your Firebase/Google Cloud project data or a persistent user profile.

Request by email: If you need help, contact askitloud.edu@gmail.com with subject “FireConsole account deletion” and your Google account email. We will confirm that no server-side account data exists and guide you through the steps above.

9. Your rights & choices

Sign out — removes stored OAuth tokens from your device.
Revoke Google access — visit Google Account permissions and remove FireConsole's access.
Manage subscription — Google Play → Payments & subscriptions.
Delete local data — uninstall the App or clear app data in Android Settings.
Contact us — email below for privacy questions or deletion requests related to any data we hold (typically none beyond what is on your device).

10. Permissions

The App requests these Android permissions:

Internet — connect to Google APIs
Network state — detect online/offline status
Biometric / Fingerprint — optional app lock only

The App does not request access to contacts, SMS, call logs, precise location, or the device microphone or camera.

11. Children's privacy

FireConsole is a developer and administrator tool intended for adults and professionals. It is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. International transfers

When you use the App, data may be processed by Google on servers located in countries where Google operates, in accordance with Google's policies and your project configuration.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes may also be noted in the App or Play Store listing. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
